NRAS Update from Peter McDonald

On Friday 7 October, Peter McDonald advised that a number of colleges and halls were notified of their successful NRAS applications.
Successful Round Four applicants in the higher education sector include:

NRAS incentives to the higher education sector now total 5,043. The projected state and federal incentive payments over the 10-year NRAS incentive period for these 5,053 incentives will amount to approximately $600 million. Associated construction costs will amount to approximately $1 billion in total - a significant stimulus to the sector.
Note that one of the commercial student accommodation providers also received incentives in Round Four - Campus Living Villages at ECU received 71 incentives.
